Children's Activities
Cued Speech Instruction
Children birth - 3 will be cared for and exposed to Cued Speech through play, games, and activities.

Children 3-5 will learn to cue through fun activities with other children of the same age.

Children 6 and up will also have some systematic Cued Speech instruction in addition to exposure to cueing through fun activities around the island.

Teens will have the option of taking a structured Cued Speech class.  They will also practice cueing skills through various activities, supporting the younger cuers or helping the counselors.

Literacy Block provides time to read with friends, adults and counselors.  We invite special guests, such as Maine's children's book author Lynne Plourde, to join us and read their stories.

Speech & Language Therapy is provided to campers who are deaf or hard of hearing.  Goals will be determined by the child's IEP or parent input.

Fun Camp Activities that promote communication and language development, formation of peer support relationships, and exposure to deaf role models.
